The FreightDATA Air Freight software package is a fully integrated operations and accounting system. The air bill entry program features automated personalized rating and routing and allows for override changes in routes/rating. It automatically computes and rates any accessorial charges (COD - declared value, etc.) and automatically calculates the "DIM" weight. The system features a complete door-to-door tracking and tracing program that stays with the history file and has the ability to let you create a manifest for consolidation shipments to the airlines. For easy auditing and payment control, the system will automatically apply costing for the drivers, agents, and airlines.

Freight tracing starts with the entry of a shipment through the Bill Entry function. The initial data not known or available is pulled from other sources and posted to the Tracing files. As the F/B items reach certain stages of delivery or the circumstances of the delivery change, information may be added or changed to keep the bill updated.

During the billing/rating process all accessorial, class, FAK, and miscellaneous charges are automatically computed and added to the freight bill.

At the end of each business day the freight activity is posted to the General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and various statistical files.

Information about all air bills is available on any screen on the system.

Activity reports are available for any selected time period in summary or detail for selective shippers, consignees, third party debtors, or carriers.
